Food Prices in Penang Go Up By 20 Sen

The price hike in RON95 and RON97 has caused consumers in Penang to endure a noticeable increase the price of food products in the region.

According to Kosmo!, food outlets in the Bayan Baru, Bayan Lepas and George Town have brought up the cost of their food and beverages up to 20 sen more. Five nasi kandar outlets had no choice to hike up the prices of their basic meals like roti canai, nasi lemak and even beverages.

Clearly the price hike in fuel is already showing signs of effect in daily human necessities, and it won’t be long until it becomes more obvious in the Klang Valley. Thoughts?
