Those who loved the “Harry Potter” series, you’ll definitely be intrigued to know about the spinoff, “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them”, which is based on the 2001 fantasy novel by J.K. Rowling. The upcoming trilogy will be set in New York City, seventy years before Harry’s story began, and stars Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander.
It was just announced that the lovely actress to play the female lead is Katherine Waterston, known for her role in “Inherent Vice”. She will star as the witch, Porpentina (or simply, Tina) who operates in the U.S. Could she be as memorably sharp-witted as Miss Hermione Granger?
Author J.K. Rowling announced that the flick with not be a prequel or sequel to the massive “Harry Potter” saga, and will instead be creatively expanding the magical world of wizardry. We definitely can’t wait to find out more about this surefire hit, and we’re certain there will be plenty of exciting and lovable characters as there were in Rowling’s past series.
