NYFW: Oscar De La Renta Spring ’13 Collection

Another famous fashion name all the women love. Oscar De La Renta sent his designs down the runway at NYFW and there was no disappointment at all.

This entire collection was filled with colour and patterns that we’ve never seen at an Oscar De La Renta runway show – but we’re not complaining. In fact, we love it. The mesh of odd colours and patterns we’ve never really thought about. This spring 2013 collection really opens your eyes to a completely new world of fashion.

Ofcourse, with any Oscar De La Renta collection – there will be a few stunning gowns, and that is exactly how it is in this collection. There was a mixture of gala gowns along with actually things that you can wear on a daily basis. We’re getting that 50’s feel from all the designs in this collection. Very vintage and very classy.

Trend Alert
Pink and blue.. that’s all we really need to say. There’s so much more fluorescent tones in this collection and it is the first time that we’ve seen bright pink and blue in one design on a RTW runway. Especially with the fact that for this Spring collection – every other designer has been toning down the colours. But that’s not the issue for Oscar De La Renta.

All in all – we’re pretty impressed with this collection because of the amount of variety that holds through out the collection.
