Real-life Crazy Rich Asians Faliq Nasimuddin and Chryseis Tan, Naza Motor and Berjaya Group heirs respectively, had a few grand wedding receptions about five months ago when they first tied the knot.
It all started with a dreamy ceremony all the way up in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang at The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort where the couple was photographed against the most picturesque backgrounds. That’s where the tea ceremony formalities also took place in honour of the bride’s Chinese heritage.
It was then followed with a luxurious revelry at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) whereby there were live performances by Shane Filan of Westlife, Blue and Dayang Nurfaizah. In attendance were Johor’s princess Tunku Tun Aminah, as well as other notable guests including her now sister-in-law, Marion Caunter.
You may have thought that that was the end to the #chrysfaliqeverafter festivities, but fast forward to 17 November 2018, the couple then threw another lavish wedding reception, this time all the way in Kyoto, Japan at the opulent Four Seasons Hotel. Perfect timing as autumn is Chryseis’ favourite season of the year.
Donning custom wedding gowns from Oscar De La Renta and Prabal Gurung, Chryseis looked spectacular when photographed with her husband amidst the fairytale backdrops set up at the venue, decorated with golden amber foliage aside from multitudes of fresh flowers in varying shades of pink and cream.
The ceremony which was fit for sheer royalty also featured K-pop band D.I.P. Needless to say, it was a magical affair for the newlyweds and their closest friends and family. Congratulations again!
