Notorious for its statement ‘Made In England’s and must-have footwear for the young and rebellious, Dr. Martens made it’s bold fourth-coming here in Sunway Pyramid at the opening of the brand’s fourth retail outlet in just under two years.
Housing the latest collection from the iconic British footwear over a space of 1,406 sq feet, the celebration was joined by local celebrities Amy Search, Nabila Huda, Wak Doyok, Dato’ AC Mizal and more. Customers can look forward to the complete season’s collection including the exclusive ‘Made In England’ range, Refine, Re Invented and Rugged collections and the latest outlet.
“Fashion is fast growing in Malaysia and there is a relatively strong movement in statement looks among the local youth. We are happy to be so well received by Malaysians and are excited and honoured to have been given this opportunity to expand to our fourth retail outlet in the country”, said Justin Lim, General Manager of Stream Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Dr. Martens.
Known for its ‘AirWair’ cushioning, detailed stitching and craftsmanship, Dr. Martens then soon established itself as an iconic footwear symbol of a diverse array of ideologies, and forms of expressions, which became an immediate fashion statement, worn by celebrities, rebels and punks alike.
Dr. Martens made its first debut in Malaysia with the opening of their first standalone at The Gardens Mall with Pavilion KL and Komtar JBCC following shortly after.
