Italian fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana have been sentenced to jail due to their tax evasion for more than RM4.2 million. D&G’s Domenico Dolce and Stafano Gabbana are accused of hiding millions of Euros from Italian tax authorities.
The judge has confirmed the guilt with proved evidences and they will be jailed for 20 months and a fine up to 10 million euros. The highest Italian court has overturned the ruling although the designers were originally cleared of the charges in April 2011.
D&G famous clients including Victoria Beckham, Madonna and Kate Moss have denied the charges above.
