Ah. Break ups. Some are harder to take than others. But we’ve always believed that it all depends on how you (male or female) handle the situation.
We’re not sure where this one Dutch female gets her ideas from but calling her ex-boyfriend once in every eight minutes for an entire year is not what we would call, “handling a break up well”.
Prosecutors at The Hague are bringing up stalking charges against a 42-year-old Dutch woman because she has apparently been going all psycho, calling her poor ex-boyfriend only about oh..65,000 times a year. When you break it down, that’s about 178 calls a day. 178! Count them!
And in her own defense, she claims that they were in a relationship and therefore, her nonstop phone calls were neither psychotic nor excessive. Uhm. We hate to break it to you but, that’s not exactly romantic. Not even if he was still your boyfriend.
She was at her Rotterdam home and upon a search, authorities found several cell phones and computers that she has been using to harass her ex-boyfriend. The Dutch courts have since strictly ordered the woman to stop calling the poor dude. We hope he’s finally getting some sleep.
