Discovery Channel Brings On Survival Skills To The Extreme

Discovery Channel is bringing to you a new show that takes a twist on survival.

‘One Car To Far’ is an all-new five-part survival series that follows a former British special forces operative, Gary Humphrey and an American car junkie, Bill Wu as they are dropped into amazing landscapes and forced to work together in order to survive.

So, what’s the twist to the show? They will have to learn how to survive using a four wheel drive all-purpose vehicle. It’s the perfect combination because you have Bill Wu, who is an expert with cars, and knows his way around every piece in a car and then you have Gary Humphrey who knows the trips to survival in the harshest situations.

The guys will be placed in the most extreme areas of Chile, South America where there are no proper roads and no real supplies. Going through rain forests to snowy mountains, the two must rely on instinct and expertise alone in order to make it out.

In the show, you will witness Gary and Bill’s persistence to stay alive results in various unusual but ingenious survival tips and quirky mechanical tricks, including taking ordinary parts from their car to create hunting weapons, building a good shelter in the snow or using an egg to seal a crack in their car‘s radiator.

To top off all the action, every episode of ‘One Car Too Far’ will leave viewers at the edge of their seats with a spectacular do-or-die car stunt that exerts mechanical brilliance, supreme driving skills and a lot of luck.

Here’s a little sneak peek at what you’re going to expect in the show:
