Yesterday, fans of Kendall Jenner were perplexed to see that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was M.I.A. without a warning. From various accounts, it seems that the model is taking a break from the social media app.
On Sunday afternoon, if you were searching for Kendall Jenner’s profile, you’d get a “sorry, this page isn’t available” or “no posts yet” when you land on her empty profile. But now, we can’t even seem to search for her official account!
While the reality star hasn’t addressed the Instagram ghosting, fans are sighing with relief that her Twitter and Facebook accounts are still running. As fan conjure theories of Kendall’s sudden act of disappearance, you can’t deny that the star has enjoyed a digital detox every now and then in the past.
“I definitely have close friends, and even some family members, who are so connected to their phone and can’t get off of it,” she previously told Allure before describing a vacation where family members weren’t experiencing the beauty of their surroundings because of the devices. “That was the moment it kind of clicked for me. And I didn’t like it. So sometimes I delete Instagram or Twitter or Snapchat off my phone for a couple days.”
Kendall Jenner has one of the most popular celebrity accounts. One post earned more likes than any other in 2015. More than three million people liked a picture of Kendall lying down with her hair spread out into hearts. And even replicated the shot on their own.
In other words, people love keeping up with Kendall’s page. Here’s to hoping it will be back soon!
