Newcomer Deuce joins Publika’s array of F&B options, serving contemporary European cuisine with a slight Asian flair. The restaurant is set with a warm and enticing ambience, accommodating guests with an open kitchen bar and an al fresco dining area overlooking the brisk, nightlife strip.
Operating from 6pm til midnight daily excluding Mondays, Deuce has the perfect setting for nine-to-fivers as well as movers and shakers alike seeking respite from the day’s drudgery as they ease into the evening and have casual conversations amongst pals and acquaintances.
The extensive list of alcoholic beverages on Deuce’s menu is more than able to impress, and aside from its 40 selections of wine available, the restaurant also takes pride in its handcrafted cocktails, such as the Bungarosa and Russian Mermaid to name a few, that’ll keep you coming back for more.
The newly established casual-dining spot takes over the place of Coquo whose chef Toni Valero had gone on to continue his culinary journey in Singapore after four exciting years in Malaysia. Hence, Deuce naturally inherited and reinvented some of Coquo’s signature offerings to retain a little of its legacy.
A few of those dishes from Coquo that have gotten upgrades include Coquo’s renowned Octopus dish that is now served with pickled beetroot and saffron aioli, and chef Valero’s smoked cecina, comprising cured beef from the Basque meat company Txogitxu.
