Sometimes, only sometimes, I feel bad for disliking kids; it’s not really their fault they’re so rude, demanding, noisy, and have ear-piercing screams, some parents apparently do not have enough brain cells to educate their own children properly, like these parents here who bought owls for their stupid whiny kids who wishes to be like Harry Potter! According to a wildlife group, the population of owns faced a sharp decline recently and they suspect that it’s because illegal traders have been capturing these birds to sell to even stupider parents.
“There seems to be a strange fascination even among the urban middle classes for presenting their children with owls. There is an increase in people looking to purchase owls from illegal traders. These birds are being trapped and traded.” – Jairam Ramesh, an Indian Environment Minister.
I’m not surprised, there are parents who give birth to babies and dump them in the streets, what does a life of an owl mean to them?
