The post-mortem of Glee star, Cory Monteith is out!
After an autopsy and toxicology analysis, the coroner released a statement saying that Cory died of a mixed drug toxicity involving heroin and alcohol.
“It should be noted that at this point there is no evidence that suggest Mr. Monteith’s death was anything other than a most-tragic accident”.
The police said because Cory died alone in his hotel room, there was no reason for any further police investigation, including the attempt to identify and arrest the dealer who supplied the actor with the drugs.
The police said the was no further information in the coroner’s statement to indicate that Cory may have overdosed because of a “bad batch” of heroin.
Cory has been battling drugs and alcohol in his early teenage years, and checked in to a rehab facility in April. Our hearts go out to his friends, family and those dear to him.
