The comedy network will bring back its Asian original stand-up series, Comedy Central Stand-Up, Asia!, set to be filmed in front of a live audience across two ticketed show nights at HGH Convention Centre on 13 and 14 July 2017.
Each night’s show will feature different comedians from a line-up of 16 of the hottest, funniest and boldest Asian comedians from around the world such as Imran Yusuf (UK), Paul Ogata (US), Eliot Chang (US), Papa CJ (India), Garron Chiu (Hong Kong), Alex Calleja (Philippines), Dilruk Jayashina (Sri Lanka), Jason Leong (Malaysia), and Sharul Channa (Singapore).
Expect the unexpected, but with a twist as these talents improvise and turn what it means to be Asian on its head. With eight comedians performing each night, ten half-hour episodes will be created for this installment, scheduled to premiere on Comedy Central Asia in August.
