Yes, it’s legal all right.
If you don’t know by now, most states in the US have legalised marijuana. And the state of Colorado has embraced marijuana in a pretty interesting way. In hopes of attracting a younger audience, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra is preparing a series of concerts called “Bring Your Own Cannabis.”
“Part of our goal is to bring in a younger audience and a more diverse audience, and I would suggest that the patrons of the cannabis industry are both younger and more diverse than the patrons of the symphony orchestra,” said the orchestra’s Chief Executive.
“Participant understands that attendees may use marijuana at this event, as is their right under Colorado law. Cannabis will not be sold at the event, however, and the price of the reservation is entirely unrelated to whether one chooses to use cannabis or not.”
So, let’s get this straight, they are not making you smoke, the idea behind it is for you to go and enjoy the orchestra with a little help from “Mary Jane.”
