After an extensive renovation, Cathay Pacific has reopened its lounge at the Penang International Airport!
Located on Level 3 of the terminal building, the single class lounge can sit up to 60 people in an area – more than double the size of the previous space. The renovated facility features many of the familiar design features of The Wing, The Cabin and The Bridge, ensuring a consistent look and feel between Hong Kong and outport lounges, for the comfort and convenience of passengers departing from Penang.
Hungry travellers can enjoy the self-service buffet in the dining area which offers a new range of hot and cold Asian and Western dishes. At the IT zone, travellers can utilize one of the two individual workstations installed with personal computers. Free Wi-Fi and power sockets are also available throughout the lounge.
The materials adopted in the Penang lounge provide an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The decor blends the warmth of wood and bamboo with the elegance of white marble and black granite.
As with all Cathay Pacific lounges, the Penang lounge is open to First and Business Class passengers, Silver and above Marco Polo Club members and Sapphire and above oneworld members.
