Playground Productions is giving you a chance to treat your loved ones to a magic treat at PJ Live Arts for Kleting Kuning and the Giant Crab.
Based on a Javanese folk tale, Kleting Kuning and the Giant Crab is a story of three sisters vying for the hand of a mysterious stranger, and overcoming the threat of a fierce Giant Crab using magic and martial arts.
Organized by Box of Delights Family Theatre, the show aims to educate and inspire young audiences, drawing from legends, literature and historical lore of different cultures to present high-quality, imaginative and delightful theatre.
Marina Tan, Director of Kleting Kuning and the Giant Crab, says the show aims to entertain, educate and inspire children at the fullest potential. “Think Cinderella meets Mulan meets Puteri Gunung Ledang”, says Marina.
The play written by Adiwijaya, features talents such as Cheryl Tan, Sasha Peiwen Leong, Sharon Lam and Yusuf Amin.
Catch Kleting Kuning and the Giant Crab will be on 7 December (10am), 8 December (11am), and 9 December (2pm). Tickets are priced at RM25 and available at PJ Live Arts at Jaya One, or at Tix.my.
