It’s that time of year again, time for Malaysian beauty queens to line-up in the battle of becoming the next Miss Universe Malaysia! Of the wide range of beauty pageants in Malaysia, none don a tile as prestigious as Miss Universe Malaysia.
Being the longest running pageant in the country, Miss Universe Malaysia tries to exude not only beautiful girls but girls who can be looked up to as role models. This is important as the ultimate Miss Universe Malaysia title winner will be representing Malaysia on a world stage.
Finalists are filmed over a series of five episodes aired on 8TV, starting in November and ending in December. The top six girls are chosen to be in the TV series and will be followed around as they are trained, groomed, an traveling around the country.
If you’d like to see yourself as a candidate for the Miss Universe Malaysia, simply register on their website by clicking on the “Casting Call” tab and fill out the form available on the MUMO official Facebook page throughout the month. Once shortlisted, candidates must attend a final audition where judges from various industries will evaluate them and select the top finalists to star in The Next Miss Universe Malaysia 2014 reality TV show.
