With an inspiration coming from a selection of mythical creatures, the high-end British fashion house introduces its latest collection, Burberry Beasts.
The various legendary Burberry Beasts are introduced on small and large leather goods such as prints and embroidered appliques on clothing and scarves, and as jacquards on ties. The designs of the mythical creatures hatched in the Burberry Design Studio is a unique twist for Burberry and will be introduced to the men’s women’s and children’s collection this July 2017.
In ready to wear, Beasts appear as embroidered motifs on the Burberry classic cashmere scarf and leather appliqués on jersey sweaters and capes. Prints are worked on to wool-cashmere ponchos, wool-silk scarves and silk-twill skinny scarves. A rich colour palette of ochre yellow, burgundy reds and blue grace the collection for a touch of drama.
Burberry’s beasts also appear on a range of accessories which include leather bags, key charms and wallets. All of the designs for the “Beasts” collection were created at Burberry’s London design studio, with other elements of the collection being made in Britain.
