SIFU Productions — award-winning local theatre production company — is thrilled to bring Broadway musical titled You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, to Malaysian shores from 29 September – 8 October 2017 at DPAC, Empire Damansara.
The fun family musical features our much-loved characters from the all-time favourite Peanuts comic strip series — Snoopy, Lucy, Schroeder, Linus, Sally Brown and of course Charlie Brown, himself — promising to be an irresistibly fun experience with its catchy musical tunes, larger than life characters and colourful costumes.
Guests can expect to see a stellar performance by local casts including Peter Ong, Benjamin Lin, Tria Aziz, Joel Wong, Safia Hanifah and Ivan Chan Atienza.
The acts will be supported by SIFU’s very own award-winning director Freddy Tan, Chinese theatre veteran William Yap, Fly Halizor and Loh Ui Li as Co-Musical Directors, Tunku Atiah as Choreographer, BOH Cameronian Arts Award winners Amelia Tan as Lighting Designer and Zen Tan as Set Designer.
Join Charlie Brown and the ‘Peanuts’ gang as they ponder and explore the true meaning of being happy and how to be ‘a good man’ in their own adorable little ways, all in a day in the life that is really not too different from our own.
