After retailers such as H&M, Mango, and Zara have successfully made their mark in the Malaysian fashion scene, another chain from Europe has come to our shores. Terranova, a leading Italian fast fashion brand created in 1988, opens its first Malaysian store at popular shopping mall Sunway Pyramid.
With the tagline ‘We Are As You Are’, Terranova positions itself as a young and hip brand that sells everyday fashion products. The Sunway Pyramid store occupies 6,000 square feet of retail space and offers a huge variety of apparel and accessories from dresses to tops to belts and necklaces. The trendy items are not only available for young adults, but the Terranova Kids section also gives parents cooler options to dress up their toddlers. The launch event last week attracted a number of shoppers who lined up for the official opening. In attendance were also VIPs, celebrities and lifestyle media members who witnessed the ribbon cutting by Ybhg Dato’ Nik Mohamed Din bin Datuk Nik Yusof, Chairman of Jerasia Capital Berhad together withMr Danilo Marinelli, representative of TEDDY S.p.A, the holding company of Terranova.
Local celebrities came dressed in their favourite Terranova apparel, and stars such as Aaron Khaled, Bernie Chan, Chelsia Ng, Deborah Henry, Daphne Iking and daughter Iman, and Jeremy Teo were seen shopping for more Terranova fashion items.
