Festival season is kind of over, but it doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of its beauty trends. Body marbling seems to still have people talking, and for good reason.
This DIY fad involves creating mesmerising acrylic body art which is quick to create, washes off easily, and most importantly, looks different every single time.
How it works is that layers of paint are simply dripped onto the surface of a bucket of salt water. When the arm is dipped into the paint, the salt water helps the acrylic adhere to the skin. To complete the process and avoid the paint from staining the clothes, it’s suggested to dip the same arm into another clean bucket of water.
The result is a beautiful marbled tattoo effect that’s trippy, and we’re loving it.
