The BlackBerry Z10 Smartphone has officially launched in Malaysia. The new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is the first alls touch smartphone powered by Blackberry 10, the re-designed, re-engineered and re-invented Blackberry platform, creating a new and unique mobile computing experience.
Annamalai Muthu, Country Director for Malaysia at BlackBerry, said, “BlackBerry 10 offers a faster and smarter experience that continuous adapts to you. Every feature, every gesture and every detail is designed to keep you moving”.
The BlackBerry Z10 smartphone features a 1.5 Ghz dual core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and an expandable memory card slot that supports up to 64GB cards. The smartphone also includes the latest enhancements in high density pixel and screen technology to display clear, sharp, and incredibly vivid images. It features a micro HDMI out port for presentations, and advanced sensors such NFC (near field communications) to support mobile payments and the exchange of information with a tap of the smartphone.
The Blackberry 10 is a robust and reliable platform that is both smooth and responsive. With a modern design and gesture-based interface that is highly discoverable, you can support, learn and adapt to the work you work and share.
Some of the great features of the new Blackberry Z10 is that BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) including video calling and video chat, while introducing the ability to share your screen with another Blackberry 10 contact. Futhermore, over 70,000 apps available on the BlackBerry Z10, including over 100 Malaysian apps like AirAsia, CIMB Clicks, and Sunlight Radio taxi.
All-in-all, the new Blackberry Z10 defines both elegance and functionality.
The BlackBerry Z10 is available in Black and White, and will be available from authorized carrier, Maxis on 9th March, with pre-registration program from 21st February. You can also get this elegant and distinctive new smartphone at Celcom and DiGi on 8th April. The BlackBerry Z10 will retail at RM2188.
