Just after 8 months of dating, Scream Queen co-starts Billie Lourd and Taylor Lautner have call it quits.
According to People, the two are still friends. The split came about, as it often does in the industry, from work, as said by a source – “They aren’t together anymore but they are still friendly. [Billie’s] really focused on her work right now.”
The two were first caught kissing by their co-stars back in December, mirroring the developing relationship of her character Chanel #3 and Lautner’s character, Cassidy. Taylor also stood by her side when both her mother Carrie Fisher and grandmother Debbie Reynolds passed away.
Earlier in the year, Fisher’s brother Todd described Taylor’s support of Billie, following two back-to-back family losses, as, “The truth of the matter is the guy is – he’s pretty spectacular. He’s a really deep person and he has supported her. He’s stepped up and acted like a husband would act. I mean, not that that’s what’s going on, but it’s just an amazing support system for her and I’m glad he’s in her life.”
