Beyoncé is literally laughing at that Jay Z and Solange elevator fight in her new surprise remix for the hit song “Flawless.”
In the hot single featuring Nicki Minaj, the superstar sings, “We escalate, up in this b–ch like elevators. Of course sometimes sh-t go down when it’s a billion dollars on the elevator.”
She then repeats the line, laughs and throws in a “cha-ching” sound for good measure afterwards.
Back in May, Jay Z, Beyoncé and Solange made headlines when security footage was leaked showing Solange physically attacking Jay Z in an elevator after the Met Gala.
Later, the trio released a statement saying, “As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident.”
“But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” the statement continued. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”
