Jennifer Lopez continues to amaze with her energetic and bursting energy even at the age of 51. From the awe-inspiring performances at the Super Bowl to chart topping music releases, J Lo has got it all covered. Over the weekend, J Lo got everyone talking about her natural glow after she posted a no-makeup Instagram selfie.  We have to say it, her glow is real.

“Good morning everyone!!! #MorningFace,” she captioned the post. So just how does the star manage to make 50 look like the new 20-something when it comes to her flawless complexion? Here’s how the A-Lister’s skincare routine looks like.

Keeps a clean face

“I always, always wash my face after a workout. That helps keep my pores clean and my skin feeling healthy,” she told Hello!.

Moisturizes before bedtime

After washing her face before bedtime as well, she also moisturizes her face before sleeping, and swears by it. “I never go to bed without taking my makeup off, [and I use] night creams to keep my skin hydrated,” she told People.

Uses SPF on a daily basis

During the day, she’s all about protecting her skin the harmful rays. She slathers on SPF-packed moisturizers on her face every day. “You have to protect your skin,” she told People.

Glycolic acid

The hidden secret behind that J Glow is Glycolic acid. She told the People that she uses it to “get that healthy glow and clear skin.”

She gets her beauty rest

In her day in day out busy lifestyle, J Lo says that sleep in key in having a youthful skin. “The number one tip is to always get enough sleep. I can’t stress this enough,” she told InStyle in 2018. “I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least eight.”

Stays hydrated and eats clean

She consumes a lot of fresh produce in her diet and drinks a lot of water daily. “I think drinking lots of water and fresh foods with lots of fruits and vegetables (I keep [them] with me at all time) all play into the quality of skin’s appearance,” she also told People.

Break from makeup

When she’s not working, she prefers to let her skin breather by going makeup-free. “I am pretty low-key when it comes to my day-to-day beauty routine. I have to wear a lot of makeup for work, so when I am not working, I tend to wear little to no makeup,” she told InStyle.
