China Press reports that in the streets of Bangkok, one could easily purchase fake copies of Malaysian MyKad and passports of various countries.

Syndicate members promises to deliver the fake documents within an hour, reported The Daily.

The buyers were mostly from South-East Asian and European countries. A fake passport can costs between RM8,000 and RM10,000. Due to a huge demand and safety features that are difficult to replicate, US, UK and European passports are sold for a higher price.

The article didn’t mention how much a fake MyKad was sold for.
