He popped the question, she said yes! Well, what do you know? The youngest of the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter is engaged!
According to our source, the 33-year-old proposed to his 29-year-old girlfriend Lauren Kitt in Florida Keys last week and posted an Instagram picture of them together with caption “Big question…great answer”.
However, Carter told People that he had a full seven carats ring in his pocket for weeks until he finally popped the question. He planned the whole proposal by pulling off his romantic inspiration with a boat trip to a secluded island he knew from when he was young. But here’s another problem: Carter hadn’t used the boat in about six years!
But luckily the couple, some friends and Kitt’s father were eventually transported out to the island. The proposal came as a surprise to Kitt and she had to prompt the shocked Carter to stick the ring on her finger after she said “yes”.
Oh silly Carter, the “yes” must have came as a shocker to you too! Well, at least the proposal went well and what’s left now is their wedding date! A huge congrats to the newly engaged couple!
