Dear Miss Lipstiq,
I am currently in a relationship and we have been going out for 3 years. But the problem is that I feel he has no time for me. We only spend weekends together and half of the time, he wants to finish his work even on the weekends. 3 hours isn’t enough for me. I do not know why work is suddenly so important to him to the extend that if I were to ask him to make his pick, he would choose work. Please advise.

Dear Anusha, over the years, you would have been able to know what type of a guy he is. We have not much information of how much you guys speak to each other in a day, but he sounds like a responsible guy. Maybe he has better plans for the both of you and he believes in the concept of work hard now and enjoy later. You should actually be happy that he is not wasting his time on other unhealthy activities. Talk things out and see what are his future plans for both of you. Spending time doesn’t have to mean just meeting each other. You guys can talk over the phone and catch up as well. Talk to him, and occupy yourself so that he doesn’t start to get bored with your sensitivity.
