Indonesian actress and singer Bunga Citra Lestari and Malaysian actor Ashraf Sinclair tied the knot on Nov 8, 2008 and they’re basically #marriagegoals. Recently, the actor shed some light on what makes their relationship thrive – and its a whole lot simpler than you’d imagine.
In a recent news report by BH Online, the 37-year-old artiste said that everyday is another day of getting to know each other deeply – this ongoing process eventually led to a rock solid 9 year union without any secrets between the couple.
“We are always open and honest in our discussions since I feel that communication is a key element in a healthy and lasting relationship, even more so after marriage,” said Ashraf.
“My wife is my soul mate. As such, it is crucial that she is privy to everything that I do on a daily basis. Naturally, we’re pretty comfortable about sharing anything and everything.” he continued.
“Aside from good and open communication, we personally believe in compromise as well because there are always ups and downs in every marriage,” said the actor, who shares a 7-year-old son, Noah Sinclair, with Bunga.
