If you hadn’t already known, Miley Cyrus was the host of this year’s VMAs. Needless to say, she had tons of crazy wardrobe changes and she brought her own individual style up on stage. Somehow, Miley’s done a lot with very, very little, if you get what we mean. Let’s take a look at all of her insane outfits she paraded at the VMAs:
Outfit 1: With the silver metallic suspender thingamajig and hanging crystal beads, all we can think of is that she resembled a chandelier. Also, her butt was on full display from behind.
Outfit 2: This playful yet trippy outfit consisted of a crop top in the shape of some funky eyes, a red skirt that looks like lips and a neon orange visor that perhaps helped to shield her eyes from the bright stage lights.
Outfit 3: Albeit leaving very little to the imagination, this ensemble is super easy to DIY for Halloween. Any takers? The see-through vinyl dress with colourful buttons barely covered her lady parts.
Outfit 4: To kick off the show, Miley got on stage in a plunging multi-coloured sequinned jumpsuit, which was paired with a bright, colourful floral embellished bolero, making her look like a piñata just waiting to get smashed.
Outfit 5: Paired with knee-high boots, she also sported this white dress with extreme cut-outs and pom-pom details that strategically concealed her nipples and genitals. This looked like it was inspired by a six-pack ring.
Outfit 6: Looking like a belly-baring 2002 Barbie with neon pink extensions, Miley donned a bondage-inspired crop with embellishments on the nipple area and pink tuxedo pants to match.
Outfit 7: Beneath the tinsel silver coat that made her look like a hanging Christmas tree bauble, Miley wore a signature bodysuit.
Outfit 8: Of course, with the legitimisation of gay marriage in the U.S., Miley wore this structured rainbow board dress, accessorised with fake dreadlocks extensions to match.
Outfit 9: Towards the end of the VMAs, Miley resembled a walking disco ball in a full-mirrored two piece, with a scrunchie and silver jewellery to match.
Outfit 10: For her closing performance filled with pelvic thrusting moves and more, Miley wore a one-legged, one-gloved sequinned unitard that’s sure to terrify anyone afraid of clowns. What a way to end the VMAs!
