The Internet freaked out over the rainbow highlighter recently, and that really spurred the creative minds of many beauty lovers to DIY their own versions. However, none have quite done it like beauty blogger Gina Kay.
When her powdery highlighter unfortunately crumbled, she took the remaining product and created a pizza highlighter instead, complete with pepperoni and a crust, made from spare eyeshadow.
It’s actually pretty genius, and it adds to the aesthetic appeal of the product, aside from its functionality. It also shows us that there is no need to throw away your compact just because it shattered. All you need is some rubbing alcohol to repress it into its previous form.
We’re certain we’d see similar pizza highlighter creations appearing on Etsy soon. Let’s be real, we, too, could use a gorgeous golden glow. 😉
