We all hoped that Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom would have had a happier and more fulfilling relationship. Their love seemed sincere and honest, but it was recently cut short when Khloe filed for divorce from Lamar after four years of marriage.
According to TMZ, the sassy and outspoken Kardashian sister filed for divorce on Friday afternoon and cited “irreconcilable differences”. She is also requesting for the name “Odom” to be removed from her legal name. She seeks no spousal support and also requests that Lamar seeks none from her.
The couple’s marriage has reportedly been on the rocks for several months now. In August, sources reported that Lamar had gone missing for three days. It is believed that the NBA star had gone on a drug binge, hiding out to do crack cocaine. Lamar Odom has been battling a drug addiction for two years now, and he was admitted into rehab sometime in 2012.
Khloe and Lamar have been living apart for a few months now. Sources close to Khloe claims, “She flip-flopped several times, but she can’t imagine having kids with someone who refuses to seek help for his disease”.
This has probably been the longest lasting marriage among the Kardashian sisters so far, but we sincerely hope that Khloe finds her happiness. She is, after all, everyone’s favorite Kardashian.
