British singer, Adele’s son, Angelo won a hefty five-figure lawsuit against paparazzi that photographed their private family moments.
According to the Grammy-winning and multi-talented singer’s lawyer, Jenny Afia, Adele is really pressing on the matter that her son must never become “public property.” And we couldn’t agree more! We’re not that surprised that this happen because the singer is known to keep her private life, well, private!
Afia said: “It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family’s wishes.” As stated by her lawyer, while Adele accepts her very public profile due to the nature of her work, she does not however encourage photos being taken of her family, which intrudes their privacy.
Angelo, who turns 2 in October, will have the settlement against photo agency Corby Images UK, saved in a trust. The agency also agreed never to use the images again.
