Christmas is over, and now it’s time to brace yourself for the upcoming year! You’ve got to make it exceptionally good! From the type of dress to the perfect heels – it’s time to get ready to say hello to 2013!
1. The Perfect Dress
For the dress of the year, we would suggest going for a little black dress or a little gold dress – pick either or, and we’re sure you’ll make heads turn. A simple dress is always key, and for New Year’s Eve, you don’t want to over do it either. Right? On top of that, comfort is key, so there is no point taking out your fanciest gown, just to make your statement. Keep it clean cut and collected – plus, when you look back at photos, you’ll be happy enough that you chose either of those dresses.

2. The Perfect Hair
As it is New Year’s Eve, and you will be getting a little sweaty from dancing or running around with friends, we would suggest simple up do’s and braids. Either get a pony tail or if you are the type that hats having your hair tied back, then go for a fishtail braid – it’s simple, classy and chic… and also, it gives you that effortless look.
3. Not-so-heavy make up
Try to avoid all forms of panda eyes. This year, try to keep it simple. If you’re planning to go heavy on the eyes, then go light on the lips and if you’re planning to go light on the eyes, the use a bright red lipstick to give it that pop.
4. Sling clutch
As girls, we need to have the right bags and for this occasion be sure to have a bag that you can keep with you at all time. New Year’s Eve can get a little hectic and you don’t want to be the girl who leaves her clutch around right? So get yourself a sling clutch, and sling it round you at all time. Be sure it’s able to fit all your needs.
6. Comfy heels
Comfort is key and especially on New Years Eve! Ff you’re planning to party the night away then you need to get yourself some comfortable heels. Dancing the night away in heels that give you blisters – that wont make a nice entrance for 2013. So, get your flats on if you want, or just heels that you know you can survive in.
