Unique weddings are always refreshing and such a joy for not only the guests but also the people involved in your wedding such as your planner and yes, your photographers.
Katie and Mark are your ordinary American couple except that they both work for Disney. Katie designs and dresses interiors for the parks and Mark is a landscape architect. Being the comic buffs that they are, they engaged wedding photographer Heather Kincaid to help plan and shoot both their engagement and wedding portraits based on the comic book theme! They had their engagement portraits shot in a comic book store and it’s the cutest thing we’ve ever seen!
Their actual day wedding was shot at the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA where fun details like Pez dispensers for table cards and vinyl records as menu/place mats on the tables. Sneakers for him!
As a wedding gift to him, she got together with Heather for a boudoir shoot and gifted the images to Mark disguised as a Marvel comic book! How sneakily cheeky!
