Meet Madeline Stuart, a beautiful 18 year old Australian girl, whose hobbies include gymnastics, cheer leading, and even a budding modelling career. Oh, and did we mention? She happens to have Down Syndrome, not that she’s let that stop her from any of her dreams. With the help of her Mom behind the camera, Madeline has been taking the internet by storm with her stunning modelling pictures, proving that you don’t have to fit the traditional realms of beauty to be considered beautiful. Her spirit is admirable, and an inspiration to young girls who might be doubting themselves, as Madeline’s confidence shines through everything she does.
As it’s plain to see, she can rock a pink bikini or a funky pair of leggings and sneakers without breaking a sweat. It is her and her mum’s hope that through her modelling career Maddy can promote awareness for those with Down Syndrome, and like her mother says, “I think it is time people realized that people with Down syndrome can be beautiful and should be celebrated.”
