It’s back again! Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready to Wear will present itself as a B2C platform for Malaysian designers to showcase their collections and ultimately, highlight the strength and creativity of Malaysia’s fashion industry on an international level.
This year, KLFW Ready to Wear hopes to attract more international attention by highlighting The Runway Collection. For 2015, the collection will feature never-seen-before runway-worthy looks from more than 80 designers, showing exclusively during KLFW 2015 from the 12th to 16th of August 2015 at the Centrecourt of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
KLFW’s mission of Moving Fashion Forward is reinstated as numerous promising homegrown labels like Line 32 by Yvonne Lim and Beverly Leong, My Apparel Zoo by Ellie E. Norman, Moto Guo and Soonaru will be showing their collections for the first time at KLFW 2015.
Working closely with Tourism Malaysia, KLFW 2015 will be inviting five guest international designers from China, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore and Indonesia to establish a bi-lateral dialogue and promote the international growth of our local designers.
Some of the key highlights to look forward to at KLFW RTW 2015 are Fazura with her Runway Collection 2015, Wak Doyok with his local brand, The Garment Movement, popular streetwear labels like Wolfgang, Nasty Inc. Clothing and Supersunday, James Hock, Jonathan Liang, cerebral designer Man Chien, Alan Ooi, Saveus, Jarred Baker, Priyo Oktaviano and Thomas Wee.
