The Tribal Collection
Coach continues to draw on graphic references inspired by all aspects of Americana, this time taking influences from the plains of the Midwest and a sense of freedom, spontaneity and ease that celebrates Summer.
Three bespoke prints – Hand Feather, Fire Dance and Dream Weaver – take a tradition of tribal pattern-making and reinvent it in a bold, modern palette of watermelon and black with injections of neon lime. Inspired by centuries-old craftsmanship and highly personal, whimsical handwork, the patterns appear as embroidered pieces and woven leathers, as well as in prints applied to familiar silhouettes. A super-luxe unlined woven tote pays homage to Coach’s leather expertise, alongside a woven duffle in two sizes. A small beaded suede duffle offers a playful, modern perspective on a Coach icon.
A series of easy sandals continues the story: a flat with a metalwork feather detail explores the theme with a whimsical, girlish elegance; a heeled woven sandal makes a bold, luxurious statement; and the cork highrise slide features the turnlock detail, combining a house signature with a playful take on functionality. As high summer nears, the collection expands to include a printed beach tote, a beach wrap and lively individual jewelry pieces.
The Colour Blast Collection
Echoing our innovative use of modern color in the 1960s—a move that revolutionized the leather industry—Color Blast injects fun, optimistic color into spring.
In the men’s collection, a playful palette of green, yellow and watermelon gives casual silhouettes, including the Campus Pack, Explorer Duffle and Mercer 40 Tote a modern attitude, offering bold statement style for the Coach Guy.
Both collections are available in Coach boutiques from April 2015 onwards.
