While bunny lines are surely cuter-sounding compared to crow’s feet, these tiny creases around the nose are no less troubling. According to a dermatologist from New York City, Dr. Jody Levine, bunny lines are small, diagonal wrinkles on both sides of the nose, right below the bridge.
To check if you have them, scrunch up your nose and note the lines down the nose. Then, relax your face to see if the little wrinkles stay or disappear. If you can see them, those are bunny lines.
Similar to all expression lines, these wrinkles are generally caused by repeated facial movements, like wrinkling the nose. Some people may crinkle their nose then they laugh and some others do not. Dr. Levine adds that too much Botox between the eyebrows can also result in bunny lines.
All wrinkles are a natural part of the ageing process, so it can be difficult to prevent them. However, a good anti-ageing skincare regimen would always make a difference. Also, try to avoid scrunching your nose as much as possible.
