Kurt Gies wanted to pop the question to his girlfriend Amanda Wiseman and have it on video but he didn’t want to ruin the surprise by having a camera out himself. So, he got a little help from a man’s best friend, his dog Roo.
Gies casually asked Wiseman to go for a walk on their favourite beach with Roo but before they left, Gies made sure to attach a GoPro on Roo’s collar secretly. So that Roo could have the proposal he had been planning on camera!
Surprisingly enough, Wiseman didn’t even notice the camera on Roo’s collar, so when Gies got down on one knee and popped the question, she was totally in schock.
We had to admit we became a little worried when Roo got distracted by something in the distance, but thank goodness he managed to refocus and have the entire proposal on video, just as Gies wanted it to.
After celebrating with his fiancée, Gies and Amanda called Roo over, and Gies retrieved the camera from the dog’s neck and announced:
She said yes!
