Dove is well-known for creating some of the most powerful campaigns that focuses on real issues that real women go through and in their latest campaign, Dove shows that beauty really is a choice.
In their latest powerful video that’s gone viral, much like their past videos, Dove travels to Delhi, London, São Paulo and San Francisco as part of their new “Choose Beautiful” campaign.
In every single one of the cities, two doors that leads to the same building is labeled “average” and “beautiful” – presenting choices that fit them best. The results may or may not be surprising to you but it was a bit of a shock to see one lady who explained that if she chose beautiful, it would be far-fetched.
Dove said of the message in the ad: “Women make thousands of choices each day — related to their careers, their families, and, let’s not forget, themselves. Feeling beautiful is one of those choices that women should feel empowered to make for themselves, every day.”
