In early December last year, Maroon 5 crashed several couples’ weddings, giving them a surprise of a lifetime.
The band drove around Los Angeles, showing up uninvited at receptions across the city and the footage was compiled into the music video for the band’s latest single, “Sugar”.
Unsurprisingly, there was a lot of screaming and excitement involved. There’s cheering, confetti, some happy tears and most importantly, there’s dancing.
Front man Adam Levine says the experience was “the coolest thing ever”.
“It was an out-of-body experience,” he mentions. “I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all.”
This is crazy! We don’t know if it was staged, but if it wasn’t, it’s probably the sweetest thing ever.
