Sorabee Skincare is the latest Korean skincare trend that arrived in Malaysia last Friday and the entire skin series is made with starfish (also known as sea star) collagen.
The Sorabee Skincare series is the first brand in the world to use marine collagen extracted from sea star. Collagen from this sea creature has been proven to to enhance skin’s moisture balance. The glue-like matrix that holds cells under the epidermis together is found in sea star collagen and it functions to refine skin’s texture and improve elasticity.
The chairman of Amaranth Co Ltd Korea, Mr Choi Chan-Ki enlightened the crowd present at Sheraton Imperial KL during the launch by explaining, “The sea star collagen has been proven to effectively penetrate the layers of skin for greater moisturising, preventing the oxidation of the skin and provides protection from viral contamination.”
There are four series available from the Sorabee Skincare series. The Balancing series is packed with complex vitamins to nourish and fortify skin, made for all skin types.
The Anti-wrinkle series is a more intense range that stimulates skin metabolism and cell turnover. The Whitening series is suitable for users who desire a fairer and more supple skin. The Vitamin B3 content replenishes the level of ceramides and fatty acids in the skin without any sticky after feeling.
There’s also a range made just for men – the Sorabee Homme series is formulated to combat oily skin while providing the necessary moisture to prevent dryness and roughness.
Made with organic ingredients, the Sorabee range is eco-friendly and is priced between RM55-RM100.
