It’s been reported that at least 14 people are injured from a hand grenade explosion that occurred early this morning in front of a pub on Jalan Bukit Bintang. The blast, which was reported by the police to have happened at 4.30am damaged four cars.
Apparently the explosion came from underneath a parked car within the area and another hand grenade device, which didn’t detonate, was found under a Toyota Camry. According to reports, the explosive objects were believed to be thrown from the second floor of a building.
According to sources, a car jockey got seriously injured and is currently under intensive care unit. All others that were also injured, ages between 22 to 40, have been sent to the nearby Tung Shin Hospital and also Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
It is believed that the hand grenades being thrown has something to do with an underworld tussle.
