If you don’t remember the lyrics to “Negaraku”, you should be ashamed!
Starting today until the 16th of September 2014, which is Malaysia Day, all cinemas nationwide will be playing our beloved national anthem right before the movies start screening.
Happening in 70 theatres nationwide, this is done to spark patriotism amongst the public and commemorate Merdeka Day as well as Malaysia Day.
This program was held last year in 2013 and it received a very positive response from everyone.
Besides “Negaraku”, three more Merdeka promos by the National Film Development Corporation (FINAS) will also be played in the participating cinemas.
You better stand tall and belt out that anthem, Malaysians!
