I’ve always loved the look of big, dramatic lashes and I’ll never say no to trying a mascara that would give me that kind of look, especially if it’s highly raved about by beauty bloggers and vloggers around the globe. Lately, the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara has been well loved and talked about, hence, I knew that I just had to try it. I’m a huge fan of Too Faced eye-shadow, but I’ve never really used any of the brand’s mascaras. Read on to find out if this product is really worth trying!

Firstly, I love the sexy and sturdy packaging of this mascara. At first, you may think that this doesn’t affect the application of the product, but it really does! The slightly heavier wand gives me better control when I apply the product. This mascara comes with an hourglass mascara brush that’s unlike any other. The synthetic bristles are firm and for that reason, it makes application super precise as it really separates the lashes and coats every single one of the hairs. I’ve used mascaras with brushes that are softer and it can get frustrating when the bristles bend while being pushed against the lashes.
This mascara gives my lashes amazing volume and drama even with just one coat! The formula thickens my lashes and fans them out nicely without clumping. It is jet black, long-lasting and holds a curl significantly. I usually apply two coats of mascara for an extra “oomph!” and with two coats of this mascara, my lashes were voluptuous, defined and intense. Love!
After a whole day of wear, the mascara did not smudge or budge at all, and still looked as luscious compared to when the mascara was first applied. I’m not sure if the formula is waterproof, but removing it was a breeze and everything comes off easily with makeup remover.
On days when I don’t have much makeup on, I still find myself reaching for this mascara and it helps make my eyes pop, even without any eyeshadow or eyeliner. I’ve grown to be obsessed with this mascara and I’ll continue to repurchase it even though it is a little pricey. My current favourite mascaras are Benefit’s They’re Real, Maybelline’s Volum’Express The Rocket and CoverGirl’s LashBlast Volume. Now, it’s safe to say that I’ve found a new favourite to add to the list.
