Ah, mascaras. They either get it very right, or oh-so-wrong. As I am blessed with very long natural lashes, I normally go for more volumizing mascaras instead of the ones that claim to lengthen. Yes, I’ve tried tons of mascaras and I have a few favourites, but I will never say no to trying out new ones! Some formulas don’t work on other people, but for you, it may be the only mascara you’ll ever need.

We’ve never tried anything from the brand before, so it was pretty exciting for us to be able to test out their new Glitz Shimmer Mascara. Read on to find out what we thought about it!
The mascara tube itself is pretty tiny, so when I pulled out the wand, I was surprised to see how huge it is! The wand is big and curved, which makes application very easy for the top lashes. Be very careful when applying this mascara on the bottom lashes as you may end up getting mascara under your eyes. I do not fancy the bristles on the wand though, as I think they are way too soft for a mascara wand. If the bristles were a little more firm, application would be a lot more effortless.
I find that with this mascara I have to apply at least two to three coats for it to show up on my lashes. I love how natural this mascara makes my lashes look! The tiny fibres in the product does give me volume and length, but it doesn’t clump and make my lashes look spidery. It also holds a curl pretty well and lasts a long time on my lashes without flaking off or disappearing. It does its job pretty well even though it doesn’t leave my lashes jet black.
Although this is a shimmer mascara, it doesn’t come off on the lashes and my lashes certainly did not look shimmery whatsoever. I don’t really mind it though, as I like this mascara for its staying power and how natural it looks when applied. The mascara also comes off super easily with makeup remover, so you don’t have to be rubbing on your eyes harshly. For the price, you really can’t go wrong with this product.
