Okay, the cuteness is absolutely overwhelming!
The first American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson took to Twitter to share the first picture of her baby and also let us in on a few details. “Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet,” said Kelly when she let the world know of her baby’s June 12th birth via social media.
The adorable and tiny little River sports a sparkly headband and snugged comfortably in a beautiful Chatsworth Poppy Doll Pram by Silver Cross. Kelly married Brandon Blackstock in the fall of 2013 and this is their first child. Kelly also said on Twitter, “Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!”
“I’m totally gonna have a girl. I’m manifesting it! And when I have a girl, you’re gonna be like, ‘That chick knew it!'” Kelly correctly predicted during an interview with Parade magazine. Not long after, the singer confirmed her suspicions and announced on Twitter, “I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!”
