In the latest issue of Interview magazine, Kendall Jenner is modelling anything but clothes!
The 18 year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and model poses in almost nothing in the magazine’s current issue. And much like the photos, the interview was just as revealing.
“When I was little, I would always lie about the stupidest things,” the brunette star reveals. “In kindergarten or first grade, I would tell people I had tigers living in my attic and a room full of gold.” And as a kid, those weren’t the only lies Kendall told. “I would tell people I was from Hawaii, but I had a Southern accent. I was the biggest liar for no reason, and then as I got older, I thought, ‘Why am I lying to everybody?’ I would hear other people lie and be like, ‘You sound so stupid.’ So then I would just change my lies. The only person I lie to is my little sister (Kylie Jenner), when I steal her clothes.”
Luckily for Kendall, she managed to find a friend in someone who had also enjoyed telling tall tales. “My first crush was this kid in kindergarten who told me had tigers in his attic as well,” says Kendall. “I’m not even kidding. I was like, ‘We have something in common!’ We were hitting it off.”
Her dream of becoming a model that would strut down runways began during her childhood. “To be honest, this is exactly what I wanted to be,” says the newbie, who’s walked the runways of New York, London and Paris. “I was always looking up to supermodels, they were, like, my superheroes.”
Kendall admits that she owes her father and Olympian decathlete, Bruce Jenner for her confidence. “My dad is my everything. He always had the craziest speeches for Kylie and me growing up, good words to live by,” says the model who has walked the runway for Chanel and Marc Jacobs. “‘Dream big, work hard.’ My parents brought Kylie and me up to be workaholics. That’s something I really appreciate.”
