Most girls have this misconception that every girl’s vagina is different from one another. But really, it all looks the same.

YouTuber Davey Wavey posted an ad on Craigslist seeking women who had never seen their vaginas. The idea behind it is to make a video showing women discussing why they hadn’t seen their vaginas. The women Wavey’s recruited had a variety of reasons for never having explored their vaginas, ranging from body image struggles, religion, and insensitive remarks from former partners, to worrying that it wasn’t a “normal” thing to look and dealing with the psychological trauma of sexual assault.

“I’m afraid it’s going to be ugly,” says one woman featured in the video. “I’ve not seen my vagina because my stomach is covering it,” says another.

Wavey set up a “Vagina Booth” and the women were escorted into the booth and offered a hand mirror to take a long-awaited peek. Our favourite response is from this bubbly lady: “Looks like an Apple Turnover”

So girls, grab a hand mirror and check out your vaginas!
